NSA will ascertain the credibility of YEA Package beneficiaries – Ag PRO

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has confirmed the beneficiaries of the Youth and Employment Agency package is in three folds , thus the Ghana Football Association, National Paralympic Committee and other federations.

In an interview with Public relations officer of National Sports Authority on Twifoman FM, Charles Obeng Amofah stated all letters from the NSA were received by the associations last week on submission of names., Wednesday, July 15,2020 has been confirmed as the deadline for submission.

He confirmed some associations have submitted theirs while waiting on the others so they can come out with a full list.

The final lists will be compiled for vetting process following the clause in the agreement by the YEA which states, the agreement will be terminated if the wrong list is submitted.

The National Sports Authority is expecting the best from all twenty- five associations with a disclaimer on false list circulating on social media.

“No list will be submitted to Youth and Employment Agency if not vetted, we can go the extra mile of inviting players to ascertain their credibility” Charles Amofah cautioned.

Charles Amofah has disclosed contractors are on sites working to renovate the Baba Yara and Essipong sports stadium with an assurance of Eastern regional structure to be completed by October. Ten sports resource centers scattered across the country are still ongoing.
